With more than 40,000 international students studying there from more than 100 different nations, Malaysia is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for postsecondary education. It serves as the region’s epicenter for excellence in higher education and academia.
Quality Education Programs
The Malaysian government keeps a close eye on the standard of education there. Malaysian educational institutions offer modern, market-relevant courses that are professional and career-focused. Through their twinning programs or branch campuses in Malaysia, numerous internationally famous institutions from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand provide approved degrees to international students.
Low Cost Living & Tuition Fees
Malaysia offers incredibly low and very reasonable tuition for approved programs of excellent quality. Living expenses are also quite inexpensive. For about RM10,000 (USD3,300) per year, a student can live comfortably. Furthermore, the value of the ringgit is low in comparison to other currencies, which allows students to save a ton of money while studying there.
Courses are Conducted in English
Since English is used as the major language of instruction for all courses and study programs offered at private higher educational institutions, international students shouldn’t have any issues studying in Malaysia. There are several schools and organizations that offer basic English classes for people who are less fluent in the language.
Diverse Learning Environment
International students will experience what it’s like to live in a diverse and cosmopolitan culture while they are studying in Malaysia. Students are exposed to a richer life, a more global perspective, and a greater understanding of other cultures, ethnic groups, and traditions around the world thanks to Malaysia’s ethnic diversity. The Malays, Chinese, and Indians, along with other ethnic minorities, make up Malaysia’s three main races. International students have the opportunity to interact with students from other countries in addition to Malaysian pupils.
